1. General format
The Tour is held over 5 stages, one per week, each on a dedicated Watopia route.
Each stage offers a choice of 2 time slots. Only one race counts per stage.
Only results with a validated finish are counted (DNF/DSQ earn no points). If the first slot attempted ends in a DNF or a disqualification, the rider may ride the second slot of the same stage to be ranked.
Q: If I ride both slots of the same stage, which one counts β the first one ridden or the best one?
A: The first time achieved. The second slot is a fallback in case of problems, never a second chance.
2. Registration
Registering on the site is mandatory to be ranked, even if you take part in the race on Zwift. Your Zwift ID is required at registration and is used to match results β a Zwift ID can only be linked to one account.
The declared category is validated by the organisers, then locked for the whole Tour. In case of a blatant and sustained gap with the actual category observed on Zwift during the Tour, the organisers reserve the right to move a rider to another category for the remaining stages.
3. Teams
At registration, each rider chooses to join an existing team, create one, or not take a team and race in the individual ranking only.
Maximum team size: 16 riders, split as follows:
| Category | A | B | C | D |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Max per team | 3 | 4 | 4 | 5 |
A club may enter several teams (e.g. Team 1, Team 2...); each team has its own ranking, not combined with the club's other teams.
Up to 2 days before stage 1, a team change (join, create or leave) is possible on request, subject to the organisers' approval.
4. Individual overall ranking
Points per stage: (number of finishers in the category at that stage) β finishing position + 1, with a minimum of 1 point.
A bonus is added for the top 5 of each category, on top of the points above: 10 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2 points for 1st to 5th place.
Riders must have finished all 5 stages to be eligible for the final overall ranking. Riders who finished 4 stages or fewer still appear in the results, with their points and number of stages finished, but outside the official overall ranking.
In case of a tie on points in the general classification, the cumulative race time over the stages decides: the fastest rider is ahead.
5. Team ranking
At each stage, the team scores the best A score + the best B score + the best C score + the best D score among its riders (based on the stage individual ranking).
If a category is missing from the team at a given stage, it scores 0 points for that category, without penalising the other 3.
In case of a tie on points in the team ranking, the team that won the most stages in the team ranking is ahead.
6. Green jersey and polka dot jersey
A green jersey (sprint) and a polka dot jersey (KOM) are awarded in each category (A, B, C and D each have their own green and polka dot jerseys).
Sprint and KOM segments are designated in advance on each stage, ranked by best time on the segment (FTS), regardless of the finishing order.
Likewise, both time slots of a stage make up a single ranking per segment and per category, based on the time on the segment.
Same points scale for both rankings: 20 / 17 / 15 / 13 / 11 / 9 / 7 / 5 / 3 / 1 points from 1st to 10th.
As for the overall ranking, riders must have finished all 5 stages to be eligible for the final green or polka dot jersey of their category.
In case of a tie on points in the green or polka dot jersey standings, the rider who won the most segments (sprints or KOMs) is ahead.
